Working though lunch, as you had all week left you more than ready for dinner. With all the added pressure of a deadline your boss has had the entire crew working through lunch. It&#8217;s annoying, but you comfort yourself with the fact that you will be getting paid extra on this check and can take you and a date out for a big, fancy dinner. You are handed your check and open it once inside your vehicle. You can&#8217;t believe what you&#8217;re reading, the extra lunch hours that you worked through are not recorded! We can help.<\/p>\n<h2>What To Do When You Are NOT Paid Wages For Hours Worked<\/h2>\n<p>Even though Oklahoma is not required to offer a lunch break for employees&#8217; ages 16 and older, they are required to pay for hours that are worked. Also, if the company does offer the benefit of a lunch break, and it is in your employee handbook or contract, than you may be entitled to compensation even if you were paid for the hours worked.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Wait.
